Caitlin Brzezinski |  Performing Artist

Caitlin Brzezinski is an actor and theater artist born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. She is a recent graduate of The William Esper Studio in Manhattan.

Her latest project, created in collaboration with artist Libby Schap, is a full length shadow puppet show called Flying Lessons: A Show in ShadowsFlying Lessons has received funding from the Jim Henson Foundation, performed Off-Broadway at the LaMama Puppetslam in NYC, and toured the north east. In 2019, Flying Lessons will be performing in venues across the US and Canada.

training and background

Caitlin has trained all over the world including The Pig Iron Theater Company’s School for Advanced Performance Training in Philadelphia; The British American Drama Academy in Oxford, England; and the Accademia dell’Arte in Tuscany, Italy. These programs offered rigorous physical training with an emphasis on devising through collaboration. She completed her undergraduate work at Bennington College in Drama, Socio-Cultural Anthropology, and Comparative Literature.
